You can spend an entire day on its 8000 acres or find a spot for camping and stay the entire weekend, as you’ll never run out of activities and places to relax on Grapevine Lake!
Boasting amazing bronze statues of what appear to be mustangs running across a fountain, this museum offers several indoor attractions as well, including exhibits on the artist who provided those nine beauties, Robert Glen. You can walk around the fountain and relax for some fresh air or tour the indoor attractions and learn more about what it takes to become such a talented sculptor.
If you or the kids love getting up close and personal with farm animals, visit the Fritz Park Petting Farm. This small zoo and farm hosts a number of tame animals ready for your visit, as well as a coloring area, lots of benches, and places just to relax and watch the farm in action. A favorite for young children, the Fritz Park Petting Farm is an excellent location for everyone in the family as well. This is one of our favorite things to do in Irving, Texas.
For those who prefer something a bit upscale, make time to visit the Irving Arts Center. This 10-acre center offers over 91,000 square feet of space filled with artwork and exhibits. The Irving Arts Center also offers lots of performances throughout the year, including corporate presentations and cultural celebrations. There is also an outdoor sculpture garden and several meeting areas you might employ for your next corporate event!
With over 22 miles of natural and urban views, Campion Trail is an excellent spot for hiking, biking, jogging, or just a leisurely stroll. The trail also offers a number of small water attractions and lots of lush wildlife and trees, for excellent surroundings you’re sure to love.
